FIAT: COULD THIS BE THE NEW PANDA?

The new Fiat Panda will be officially revealed next July. In the meantime, however, some images have appeared on the web from a patent filed by Fiat in 2021 that appear to be precisely those of the long-awaited model that will debut in 2024. Obviously, it is not confirmed that it is indeed about it even if the similarities with what the design of the “new Panda” should be are obvious. Remember that this car will be the twin of the Citroën e-C3 which was revealed in October and in fact the car in these images and the French model are very similar.

At this time, it is not possible to confirm whether the vehicle shown in these images is indeed an upcoming production version of the new Fiat Panda, but it seems unlikely that it is a concept, considering given certain details such as the presence of locks on the door handles. Other elements of the car, such as the mirrors, also appear close to the stock design.

We remind you that the new Fiat Panda will be built on the Stellantis Smart Car platform at the Kragujevac factory in Serbia. The car will also be produced in Kenitra in Morocco for North Africa and in Betim in Brazil for Latin America. On the latter continent, it could have a different name. As these photos show, the car will undergo a major aesthetic change compared to the current generation which will continue to be produced in Pomigliano at least until the end of 2026.
